Northeast Wisconsin Alpaca Basics Clinic cordially invites you to visit beautiful Northeast Wisconsin on Saturday, June 24th, 2017, to learn firsthand about the wonderful world of raising alpacas for fun and profit.  Get advice and have questions answered by some of the highest regarded representatives in the industry; the successful owner of this farm and an international consultant.  Learn directly from the owner, Kevin Stoer, Agricultural Judge and awarded FFA advisor.  And also leading AOA Senior Alpaca Judge and past National Fiber Cooperative President, Wade Gease.  This clinic is designed to benefit the newly interested or novice alpaca breeder. Welcome to our 30th clinic!  Experience firsthand what it is like to interact with these gentle and captivating animals in our clinic sessions.  You will learn about basic alpaca health, feed, handling, farm set ups, husbandry and what incredible tax advantages they offer!  You will get a crash course on fiber characteristics and conformational aspects about the alpaca.  This clinic will help you identify what you are buying and if the business is right for you. Meals & handouts are included.  There are lots of opportunities to handling the alpacas, gather ideas and ask these industry experts your questions.
