Future Seminar:
The GLAA board is continuing to investigate options for the 2022 seminar. We will notify members as we obtain updated information.
REMINDER: 2021 GLAA Membership Dues Waiver
All active GLAA members in 2020 will have their memberships extended through 2021 with dues waived. Members do not have to take any action to have their memberships extended.
Anyone can join GLAA before December 31, 2020 for $25. You will then be active for 2020 and have your membership extended through 2021! And yes, inactive members are eligible for this option. (An annual membership is normally $50.) Please Join Us Here!!
AOA National Show 2021
The 2021 AOA national show has moved from its previous location in Denver, Colorado. It will be held March 19-21 in Grand Island, Nebraska.
Marketing Through Openherd
Are you looking for a place to sell your animals or products? You can advertise them on the Openherd national marketplace. AOA Response to PETA Investigation
Some of you may have seen repeated PETA ads that allege alpaca abuse at Mallkini, an alpaca farm near Muñani, Peru ( https://investigations.peta.org/alpaca-wool-abuse ). The AOA published an excellent, responsible, well-informed response to the allegations.
